What is Mental Skills Training?
Many athletes know how to prepare themselves physically for competition, but how do you prepare yourself mentally? Just like physical training, mental training helps athletes perform at their optimal level. Your body knows how to do certain skills day in and day out, but sometimes our mind gets distracted. Whether you are focused on something that happened in the past or something that could happen in the future, your mind becomes the most powerful tool that you forgot to train before competition. Whether you are an individual trying to perform at your peak level or a team trying to perform as a cohesive unit to achieve the same goal, mental skills training can help you reach the goals that you have set.

Reach Your Full Potential
Team Workshops or Sessions
A group of individuals make up a team, but how do you make that group of individuals work cohesively towards a common goal? Teams can focus on goal setting, communication, cohesion development, overcoming adversity, among other things to help them work together to achieve their team goals.
Just as you train your body physically, it is important to train your mind. Decision-making, relaxation, focus, self-talk, and more play a huge role in your performance. Adding mental skills training to your schedule can enhance your performance and help you reach your full potential.
As your mental skills trainer, it is important for me to watch you perform in competitive settings. Using this information, I will tailor your individual or team sessions to what your needs are specifically. I can also provide you with examples of how our sessions will benefit you in your next performance.
Mindy was such an asset to our team. She consistently helped the ladies through confidence issues and mental blocks. She worked on long term and short term goals ranging from pre game exercises to exercises throughout a tournament and the season. The ladies began to seek her out between games for her help. Mindy's services became so contagious that even coaches would ask for exercises and tips. We love Mindy and thank her for all of her help!
